You are evil, woman. Devil in a blue silk skein. I have seen this a few times at Lettuce Knit (3rd LYS) and have avoided the temptation to date. Up here anyway, it is even more expensive than Handmaiden! Good thing PayDay is not until Friday...!!!!
I do have some Alchemy Silken Straw. Don't know if you've ever used that. The Alchemy colourways are really without compare, though.
hey Amy: thought of you yesterday. Was at the LYS I don't go to all that often - the only one selling Alchemy in Toronto - the Alchemy collection now takes up quite a large shelf. I had to look away as I had already found Blue Moon at the time... but the colours... ooh ahh.
PS - why don't you make yourself a Tuscany with some of this? It might turn out a bit on the heavyweight side but it would be fabulous. You might be able to get away with 2 skeins although probably you should pick up three. Then you can have any leftovers for fondling.
I have not....
ReplyDeleteHeee.
