Of course not. I didn't work on any of the lace, I didn't finish the project bag, I didn't even touch the house socks.
I started something else all together. I finished this one though, it was a fun pattern and I had some really fun yarn to work with.
The pattern is Quant from Knitty Winter 2007 and the yarn is Adriafil KnitCol Trends - 100% Lana Merino Superwash. (I would have put a link to the website here but it is in Italian and I didn't think it would be much help) I used size US 8 needles and it took about 6 hours start to finish.
And speaking of really fun yarn, check out what the mailman brought on Saturday:
It's Fleece Artist GoldieLocks, it's incredible and it came from Kristina. I have some of the best blog friends anywhere, I don't deserve them. Thanks, KB.

Great for you, WIP's are not always gonna be the first choise - so much fun to start on a new project! And that is a great Quant I must say. I love it! Thanks for the link, it is now on my to do list... And so lovely yarn from Kristina, you lucky girl.
Listen up.... you do SO deserve the best blog friends! Silly woman :^)
Quant is pretty, you and that entrelac, heh.
Gorgeous Goldielocks!
Well, at least the new project got finished and did not become another wip sitting on needles! Beautiful yarn you received!
Lucky on your superbowl knitting. We ended up having company come over and i got kicked out of my chair, so no good light for knitting. I like to watch the game (seeing i did care about a team in it) but still must keep the hands busy!
LOVE the Quant! Now I definetely have to make one... amazing how the colours worked out so perfectly. Must be your immense talent!
Glad you like the Goldielocks. I'm enjoying working with it myself. :-)
What a fun headband!
You really are a lucky girl, aren't you? Look at the gorgeous Goldielocks.
I like the Quant!!! The variety of colors makes it so happy. Entrelac seems like such a mystery to me, so that makes your Quant even more impressive :)
I say keep on castin' on. WIPs represent the knitterly thrill of the chase. Completed projects are waaaay overrated, sez me who has not completed anything but booties since before Christmas.
Ooh - the Quant is lovely! I should have tried something like that to learn entrelac instead of the massive Danica scarf.... frogged twice and has been sitting in a basket untouched for over a month now. Poor Danica. Maybe she will be reborn as Quant?
We both must have had the hankerin' for an earwarmer last month. :)
I love the quant. It's one of the prettiest I've seen so far. Makes me wanna think more on attempting to improve my knitterly skills
Shan
Entrelac...very pretty! This would be something new for me.
The GoldieLocks yarn looks divine!
I don't know about your UFO's but that FO is sweet!
I really wanted some more letters to be all knit gangsta, but, I had nothin.
that yarn is just perfect for the Quant...I love it!
