Here's two good reasons to wish that you were in Tulsa, Oklahoma today:
1. The weather...high temp today was 85F/29C
2. Gas is $1.93 per gallon.
Those are also the first two items on my thankful list, here's the last one:
3. I didn't have to work today, so I got to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Another thing to be thankful for: Amy is back! I've missed you.
P.S. Gas is $2.36 here, but that is still better than the $3.64 it was a month ago.
So good to see you back Amy! Hope you are doing well. It sounds like heaven with 29C, yeah I wish I was there. Here we have snow and degrees below 0C...
That's it; I'm packing! 85 degrees and no work - it doesn't get much better than that.
I AM here in Tulsa...
OH YAY!!!! Julie is heading our way!!! :^D
Hey, Sweets. Remember the other night when we both got excited about the gas being 2.06/gal? yeah.
Looks to be another gorgeous day,eh?
well, crap, delete one of those m'kay?
It's warm here on The High Plains of New Mexico, too. S'posed to be 83 today, if we make it and I have little doubt we will. And... work? Whazzat? ;-)
Good to see ya back, Amy.
Just started raining here in SF, we've hardly had any all year, and I think I'll stay here for at least one more day of it. Then I'll be ready to run off to somewhere warm.
Fall is the BEST time of the year in Tulsa!!
I hope you enjoyed your day off with some fun in the sun!
OMG, I lucky you with gas being that cheap. I think it's something like $2.30 here in Kentucky.
Becky - Thanks, I've missed you too.
Tone - If you ever visit Oklahoma, you want to do it in the winter. Summers are way too hot down here.
Julie - I'll leave a light on for ya.
Marianne - What were we thinking? $2.06 a gallon? It was $1.90 when I left work this afternoon.
Buck - Did you hit the 83 mark today? And your comment about work reminded me of Maynard G. Krebs. 'Member him?
Whiplash - We're supposed to have nice weather most of this week.
Ann - Damn straight.
Tina - I did enjoy my day off, it's a good thing too because I'm not going to get too many more days off between now and the end of the year.
Buck - Did you hit the 83 mark today? And your comment about work reminded me of Maynard G. Krebs. 'Member him?
I misspoke about yesterday. We hit the low 80s on Sunday, but only the high 70s yesterday (same today). And I most certainly DO remember Maynard G! "Dobie Gillis" was a fave of mine, back in the day. NEVER missed an episode... ever!
It's dreary here. I'm up for anything over 70 degrees.
Wow--it's 75 here today, sunny and gorgeous! So much nicer! And gas is $1.95 here. It's sad that we get excited when gas goes under $2.
Rita - it was much cooler here today, only about 60F. But our gas is $1.83 now.
Hi Amy:
I wish I had been in Tulsa that day for sure!
Glad to hear that things are going well your end.
Today here: gas $0.85/litre (I think somewhere around $3.40/gal) and it is 14C or so but when you posted this it was far colder.
