I don't know what I did all week

I didn't really get much of anything done last week. I finished the little pink and brown project bag, so that is a WIP off the needles. I started another, though. I am making the Goldielocks Shawl with that beautiful blue Fleece Artist that I got from Kristina and I have continued to work on my Secret of the Shawl ii project. I seem to take one step forward and two steps back on that one. I haven't thrown in the towel yet, though.

Here's a knitting tip that I learned. I think it is worth sharing:

To minimize then number of ends that need to be woven in at the end of a project simply take the tail and wrap it around the working yarn before each stitch. This tucks the tail in neatly on the back side of your work.

I realized that I have neglected to be thankful in my last couple of posts, I need to watch that.

Here's today's list:

1. I am thankful that Tuesday is knitnite, seems like forever since I have gotten to go.

2. I am thankful for my Valentine.

3. I am thankful for quiet Sunday afternoons.

Very cool knitting tip. Thanks for sharing that. I'll have to file it away...somewhere.

More lace, really? :0)

Very cool tip!

Oh yeah, your tagged!

1. Link to your tagger and post these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they are tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

Where's the proof of this WIP off the needles that you speak of? Are we just supposed to take your word for it? ;-)

That's a great tip! I just finished the first sock in my Firestarter pair and I had at least 6 ends to weave in.

Best of luck on the Secret of the Shawl! Lace can be trying, annoying, nit-picky, and downright unfun at times but I know you can do it!

The number of WIP's and FO's aren't important, as long as you have a great time knitting and are enjoy yourself :) Well, at least that's what I'm telling myself.. *lol*

Knitnite sounds fun :)

Thanks for being my "translater", great way for me to learn! Every winter we have this much snow, it's fun for the kids but not for them that has to shuffle it. I live in a town 20 minutes drive from Lillehammer - the town that had the Olympic wintergames in 1994. Maybe you saw that on TV? A looot of snow!
