If you think you're having a bad day...

You should go over to Jaye's blog and see what kind of day she had today. It was enough to make me want to slap someone and I wasn't even there! She could definitely use some happy thoughts if you have a couple to spare.

Here are the Regia silk socks I started a couple of weeks ago for my SIL:

The pattern came from a book titled Knit Socks - 15 Cool Patterns For Toasty Feet by Betsy Lee McCarthy, they are called, "Low-Roll Sporty".

We had a nice weekend, we went to the Fair, did some shopping, went to dinner with family for the P-I-T-A's birthday celebration. I hope your weekend was as pleasant.

Oh I *love* these socks! Your SIL is one lucky woman ;)

Now, please give a review on the book because although I have several sock books I do not have, nor have I ever heard or seen this one. What are your thoughts? Will you be knitting more than just the one pattern from it? Was it worth the cost? Are there a good deal of beginner socks in it?

:D

Whether I receive any more happy thoughts or not, I can always count you. Thanks, sweetie! You always make my day a whole lot brighter!

Great socks! You have really got the hang of it! Yeah, nice weekend here too. Have been visiting friends that live by the sea and we have fished, cooked and eaten crab. Delicious! Have a nice day!
