Swing Low, Sweet Chariot

Not much knitting going on around here for the last week or so. I finished the match to my left-handed Fetching and have worked a little on a sock for my sweetie.

I have had an allergy attack of unprecedented proportions so for the most part all I have done for the last week is sip cough syrup through a straw and pray for the sweet release of death. Robert claims that I have done a considerable amount of whining too, but I don't recall any of that. I've lost my voice so even if I could whine it would be unlike me to do so. He is crazy and must be making that up.

My parents are on vacation this week, a cruise of the western Caribbean with 5 other couples. They will be in Montego Bay tomorrow, Grand Cayman on Thursday and Cozumel on Friday. I am sure they are having a great time. They will be back in Galveston Sunday morning and home Sunday night or Monday.

It's back to the couch for me, with my cough syrup and tissues.

Dude, so sorry you're feeling like, well, it sounds like you're feeling like crap... daughter Havala has been hit hard with it too.
Feel better soon... and oh, say hey, whine all you want... :^)

It is awful to feel so sick, but I am sure you are not whining. You need to tuck in and get your husband to spoil you rotten. You can tell him I said so. Take care!

I am positive you feel worse than you say and that you are nearly a saint for bearing up so well--Men NEVER understand these things.

Sorry you're feeling ill. Hope you get better soon. Meanwhile, you should be pampered.

I'm sure Robert is hearing things; I can't imagine any whines coming from your couch! Sheesh, what does he think you are; a man? ;-)

I hope you're feeling better real soon!

I hope you're feeling better, Amy!

I'm jealous to the point of painful tears that your parents have been to 2 of my favourite places in the world: Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Heck, I'd take Galveston right now even though I've never been there ;0)
