I have been tagged for this meme by Tracy B. and by Kristina Miss-I've-Been-On-Vacation-For-The-Last-Two-Weeks B. so I guess there's no way out of it.
1. What was I doing ten years ago?
Laying the groundwork for my self-employment and blissfully co-existing with a teen aged daughter. Was that sarcasm? Surely not.
2. Five non-work related things on my to-do list for tomorrow:
Non-work related? Does that include housework? If it does then, I got nothin'
3. What snacks do I enjoy?
Popcorn, anything with cheese in it or on it.
4. Places I have lived:
Tulsa and Sand Springs - which is basically Tulsa
5. What would I do if I were a billionaire?
Nothing that I didn't want to do, bah gawd!
6. Jobs that I have had:
A Waitress
Temporary Staffing Specialist - for a for a work-today-get-paid-today labor hall
Sales Representative for a collection agency - I only did Sales/Customer Service, no collecting for me!
Background Investigator
7. Now I'm supposed to tag some people, but since I just did the tagging thing about a week ago it probably wouldn't be in my best interest to do it again so soon.
Thankful list:
1. I am thankful to have had all of the jobs that I listed above.
2. I am thankful that I am not still doing the first three jobs on the list above.
3. I am thankful that the girl and I both survived her teenage years.

Great responses. I approve. I did like the (non-sarcastic, I'm sure!) "Miss Kristina I've Been On Vacation etc etc etc..." link as well :-)
Your thankful list is also wonderful. I should really start that on my blog. Maybe next week. For now, I'm thankful to have a lovely blog friend like you, a well-paying job, and decent dental benefits (which I will need as I think I lost a filling last week eating too much salt water taffy!).
#3 on your "Thankful" list is the hardest thing to do; ask me how I know!
Wow, it's good to know someone who survived a teenager! And Background Investigator? Was that fun?
If you tagged me I could almost say "ditto" with a few changes to #6 and of course, I live further south in OK and have lived several other places in TX and NM.
Teenage daughters can be a trial, but mine grew into a wonderful woman. We still disagree, but I've learned to agree to disagree and tell her so. It saves a lot of stress!
There is something about a teenager that just defies logic. I think it's the hormones. I tip my hat to anyone who has ever been in sales and I have waited tables and declare it one of the hardest jobs I have ever done. Hungry people are mean. Oh, and I agree with the gratitude for being able to have the jobs at all.
Re: #5.... hahahahahahahahah!!! you said it, sista.
I totally agree on no. 5 - great!
Great list. I'm thankful you didn't tag me (others feel the same way, no doubt)! ;-)
I hear ya about surviving teen-agers, but I think girls are an order of magnitude more difficult than boys. It looks that way to a guy who raised sons but has six granddaughters, anyway...
Missed you at Knit Nite last night!
