Mr. Woodcock and socks

Despite lukewarm reviews we went to see Mr. Woodcock this afternoon. We both really like Billy Bob Thornton and we thought the movie was hilarious. If you don't care for his brand of humor, you won't like it at all because it is classic Billy Bob. It was not quite as "wrong" as Bad Santa, but every bit as funny.

We went to dinner last night for my SILs birthday. This is what we bought her for her birthday.

**NOTE** That is my brand-new kitchen counter that the yarn is sitting on. THANKS, DAD!

SIL picked a pattern out of a book of socks for me to make for her. This yarn is awesome. It will be a comfy pair of socks. To my relief she pick a fairly simple, quick to knit pattern. Pictures soon.

I also started my Montego Bay Scarf with the Sea Silk. I have only done about five pattern repeats so far. Pictures of that soon too.

I will leave you with a quote from Mr. Woodcock:

"One of my swimmers got through, your mother's got a little Woodcock in her."

I just wanted to let you know I totally agree with your comment you left on Dipsy's blog about how dangerous us knitters are!
Hope you have a great day.
